Kilkenny Aqua Canoe Club

Based in Kilkenny city, on the banks of the River Nore, Kilkenny Aqua Canoe Club (KACC) is one of the Ireland’s largest paddling clubs. Established in 1998 our members participate both recreationally and competitively in a variety of water sports including kayaking, canoeing, freestyle play boating, dragon boating, canoe polo and stand-up paddle-boarding.

Interested in joining us?
Whether you’re a complete beginner, expert paddler, or somewhere in between, our inclusive and friendly club would be delighted to welcome you to join our ranks.
KACC is affiliated with both Canoeing Ireland (ICU) and the Irish Dragon Boat Association (IDBA) and is home to many qualified instructors, coaches, and helms.
We run beginners’ and improvers’ courses throughout the year as well as kids’ camps in the summer.
